Joe Miller |
Joe Miller has over 20 years experience in healthcare IT working in provider, health plan and government sectors. He is the Director of E-Business at AmeriHealth Mercy, a company dedicated to meeting the needs of the underserved through Medicaid managed care plans in five states. Previously he managed clinical and administrative systems at Christiana Care Health System. He is past chair of the HIMSS Financial Systems Committee which spearheads efforts around 5010/ICD-10 education/planning. In 2005, HIMSS published his book Implementing the Electronic Health Record. In 2009, he initiated efforts to form an HIE in the Philadelphia area, an effort that continues with multi-stakeholder support.
