October 6 and 7, 2010 | Nashville, TN

HIMSS Medical Banking Project and the Vanderbilt Center for Better Health have teamed to create an intensive two day workshop that will mark our first official G7 Roundtable event.

WHAT: HIMSS Medical Banking Project and the Vanderbilt Center for Better Health have collaborated to create an intensive two-day workshop, marking the first official G7 Roundtable session.

WHY: As the nation accelerates towards a digital platform, the long awaited "healthcare financial network" is emerging. The "G7" represents a new strategy that brings together seven stakeholders – providers, health plans, banks/financial institutions, government, consumers, employers, technology firms (information and biotech) – whose goal will be to design the healthcare financial network of the future. More information about the G7 can be found here.

HOW: G7 will utilize Vanderbilt’s DesignShop® process – highly interactive sessions designed to identify and resolve complex issues and achieve critical goals more quickly. Participants of the G7 Roundtable Series will actively participate and dialogue around critical topics that are shaping the future healthcare financial network. We look forward to a highly creative and effective networking and planning session!

WHEN: October 6 – 7, 2010

WHERE:  Vanderbilt Center for Better Health in Nashville, Tenn.

SEND YOUR COMMENTS: Interested parties are encouraged to submit comments related to our two topical areas (see below under Session Goals).
